Discover Aviation Day is Thursday, July 27, at Maverick Air Center, 4201 N. Maverick Place, Sioux Falls, SD. Sioux Falls Composite Squadron and Lincoln County Composite Squadron will have an Information/Recruiting Booth with Flight Simulators and a CAP Airplane on indoor display, but need help staffing. The Discover Aviation Day Committee is also asking for our help with crowd safety by manning the perimeters of the outdoor static display area. Many hands make light work and will allow everyone to have breaks and be able to enjoy the event. Some of the attractions include a C-47, B-25, L-5 & F-16. Sign up for Air Show here and contact Capt. Denise Clement for more details. - The CAP repeaters on Terry Peak and Mount Coolidge are now accessible remotely via ReadyOP, for members with ReadyOp accounts. Squadron commanders have received information about using radios to check in to the Saturday morning VHF net via these two repeaters.
